What Is It?

Any 6th-12th grade student who has the desire to be trained up in their faith and equipped to be a disciple maker can become a 4D Disciple. The 4D Discipleship process starts off as a 3-stage training process taught by trained adults and select high school students. Each stage is a series of 4 lessons with an online test that students must pass to advance to the next stage. Those who complete the 3D Training are then encouraged to jump to 4D, which includes duplication by taking another through the 3D process and participating in continuing training opportunities.

3D Training

DELIVERED – In the first stage, students learn about how sinners are DELIVERED through the Gospel. Students will dive into who God is, who man is, who Christ is and the response to those truths.
DEVELOP – In the second stage, students learn how to DEVELOP in their faith by learning the necessary tools to set out on a life-long journey of Bible study.
DEFEND – In the third stage, students learn the basics of how to DEFEND their faith as believers starting with answering the question, “Why Christianity?”

GOING FROM 3D TO 4D

DUPLICATE – Every graduate of the 3D Training is challenged to DUPLICATE by taking others through their training. For that student to be certified as a 4D Disciple, they need to complete the 3D Training pages and pass the tests for each stage.
Continuing Training Opportunities – At least once each fall, spring, and summer, we offer an ongoing training opportunity to all 4D Disciples. These seminar-like training opportunities are an excellent opportunity for students to dive deeper into specific aspects of theology and apologetics.

WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN?

The Delivered, Develop and Defend training stages are available throughout the year on select Sundays (12:30-4:00p with lunch included). The 4D Training Opportunities are available at least once each fall, spring and summer. Duplication is a continual challenge and opportunity for our students to disciple others.
